Honestly the Kraken X62 is about the best there is for AIO coolers IMO. For air cooling you could look at something like the Cryorig R1 Universal/Ultimate or similar offerings like the Phanteks PH-TC14 or Noctua NH-D15 as they are all neck in neck in terms of performance with maybe a 1-2c difference between them. The only issue with large air coolers like this is RAM clearance so if you are running high profile ram, you may need to consider your options. The Cryorig R1 Universal comes with a slim fan that should allow any ram style in a 2x configuration only.

The problem I have is that I have ordered a Kraken x62 and the pump came either damaged or too weak to cool my i5 8600k... if I order it again will that happen?

First off, how did you determine you had a pump failure? 2nd, when you had it hooked up and plugged into the motherboard, what temps were you getting on your 8600k?

Sorry for late reply. When its hooked up the temps go up constantly. I let it go up until 85 degrees and turn it off. This is while the PC is in the bios IDLE.

Does your BIOS read and RPM on the fan header the pump is plugged into? if not then it definitely seems your pump is definitely dead. If the cooler is new there is warranty that you should be able to enact to get a replacement.

What headers did you plug the fans and pump into?
