guys i have

amd fx-8350

msi 970 gaming pro motherboard

gtx 1060 6gb

16gb ddr 3 vengeance pro

i want to check bottleneck please help .

Try downloading HWMonitor as it shows your cpu and gpu usage rate. If for example, your gpu is at 100% while your cpu is only 50%, it means your gpu is bottlenecking and vice versa.

Since you only have a 1060 some games will bottleneck with a 8350. but most will still run fine. It depends on what your playing.

It's kind of hard to test this reliably.

Good luck finding a game that utilizes 8 cores.

PUBG uses 8+ threads with ease.

There is a good chance that CPU might be bottlenecking this but I'd doublecheck with task manager to make sure. Is the framerate very inconsistant? Do you hear your CPU fan ramping up when you play?

*edit*

I just found this...

https://www.tweaktown.com/articles/8189/playerunknowns-battlegrounds-benchmarked-cpu-gpu-war/index5.html

If you look at the 1080p benchmark it shows that the ryzen 5 is bottlenecking at 1080 ultra with a nvidia 1060 card, but only at ultra.

It seems like at the ultra preset PUBG goes freaking nuts on cpu power. The ryzen 5 is a much faster cpu than yours so chances are you're experiencing the same issue. My recommendation would be to shy away from ultra for now. Also even with a modern cpu, the 1060 is too slow for it anyways.
