Trouble after windows update

After he recent windows update this microsoft malware protection command line utility appeared in background task and is using 50% of my cpu useage making my pc run slow.

It appears randomly and slows down my system while i am gaming, what is that thing doing anyway taking so much cpu useage. Is there anyway to not make it appear randomly,some settings perhaps??

It's likely Defender performing a scan in the background so I'd just leave it a while then check later. Or disable defender in gpedit. meh.

If you have a different anti-virus. Just turn defender off.

you can reduce CPU, just turn off windows defender if you are using the third party antivirus
