Nvidia vs AMD GPUs in different tiers

ManOfDisguise

Now hold on before you say *sigh another Nvidia vs AMD thread* ye in a way it is ANOTHER one of those but I just want to know out of the multiple tiers there are for GPUs which takes the crowns(AMD or Nvidia) in which tier? Now what exactly do I mean by tier? Something like this:

1.Budget/Low end- GPUs(dont have experience when it comes to GPUs of this tier so I rather wont name any out so i wont say any bs)

 2.Mid range GPUs(270,270x,760,660ti,7950,etc.)

 3.High End GPUs(770,r9 280x i guess?)

4.Very High End GPUs (only the most powerful GPUs-780,780ti,290,290x,7990,690,...)

Which tiers would Nvidia be better/more worth going for and which tiers would AMD be better at?

Specs of my PC:

CPU: AMD FX 8350  Motherboard: Gigabyte 990XA UD3  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 770 Windforce 2GB  HDD: WD Green 2TB SSD:  Corsair Force GT 120GB SSD RAM: Corsair 8GB(2X4) PSU: CoolerMaster G650M

This all depends on what you want. If you want G-Sync, or Shield. Also for AMD if you want more VRAM or Mantle.

Prices are constantly changing in mid and high tier.

You have to know few benchmark and latest prices on pcpartpicker to really know for sure.

Example: till recently amd had crown with 280x and 290, now they raised price.

Low end definitly AMD with its overclocking potential and insane prices.

2GB 7850 for 120$ ? Total steal.

7770 for 80$ for 1080p gaming. amazing

Thats why when you are in dillema, you show up on this forum.

1. AMD APUs
2. Nvidia GPUs (AMD ones are being taken up for mining, and so are usually more costly)
3. Nvidia GPUs (See above)
4. AMD GPUs.
