Where on Earth can I buy a SINGLE PSU cable

TheReal_ist

I literally need one cable its to replace the utter fucking mess that is my current GPU to PSU connection. Which is a 6 + 2 to 8 pin but there is a random 6 pin extending right from the 6+2 connector. So basically I have a dangling cable right by my out in the open GPU connection. Ya that wasn't going to stand, so i began looking around to see where I can find a compatible cable that will work with my fully modular EVGA PSU. I eventually came across Cable mod but i can't find anyway to just buy a 8 pin to 8 pin black GPU power connection.

So I came to the LTT forum to request help. Because Amazon and New egg are utterly useless, and EVGA has nothing to help. So any sights you guys know of that sells what I have been looking for so long. I just want a black 8 pin to 8 pic GPU power connector that will work if possible both ways. Since most cables don't work both ways which is utterly stupid. But if not I can deal with it. No 6 + 2 to 8 pin either but if its cheaper than maybe.

I don't want to buy even the essentials kit because all my other cables work fine enough where they don't outright make everything look ugly. But my GPU cable does. So I just want a single cable.

You expect me to reply then you'd best QUOTE me so I can........thanks

Thats what I thought as well. But go and look at the site there are only packs of cables or sets they call them. Where they sell multiple different ones. Not individual ones like I want. Maybe I'm looking at the website wrong or something but you can't even search for a single cable they have a search button but it does nothing. Like wtf

Ok so i added a dual 8 pin PCI-E cable. Is this the correct PSU cable to power a GPU? I'm honestly not sure, what compatible or not. I have my PSU put in but I don't know if this cable will power the GPU or not because there is the whole thing with CPU 8 pin cables or since it says its  PCI-E cable that means its meant directly for GPU's?

Always use the Cable that comes with your MODULAR PSU.

Even they recommend you to do that.

Dont blame anybody if something gets fries.

Thats what I am worried about. So I thought if I used cablemod it would probably be the best and safest option.

Ya it did fit which was weird. But I thought for sure they would just include a cable literally labeled PCI-E or GPU something that was just a dual 8 pin or a 8 pin to 6 +2 but no they didn't. Luckily I found one to work but it literally has an extra cable hanging off it. Which makes no sense. Do they seriously think that people who buy modular PSU's dont want a clean GPU connection. Like wtf how is that at all helpful to me.

I will talk to him just to be sure. Thank you for your help. But I gotta leave ttyl.

you can happily use cables made by other companies as long as they're compatible with the PSU you have.

Fairly sure the Silverstone cables aren't compatible with EVGA's Super Flower PSUs.
