Would it be alright to get the 7567 over the 7577  what would be the difference between the two? Yeah but I just want something thay would last me at least 4-6 hours doing something like browsing, programming and stuff like that I wouldn't want to charge it always just doing those. For the weight I just want it to be lightweight as it can.

Some 7567 models come with TN panel

7577 comes with 1060 Max-Q option, less flashy, redesigned ventilation grill, equipped with Thunderbolt (X4 PCIe lanes), slightly heavier

Maybe you can take a look at Clevo based laptops, generally they have slightly lower weight

Let me be forward with you buddy. There's no such thing as light weight with good battery life combined with specs and price point you proposed. And 7567 is a piece of shit, the new model is (and even Dave said it) years better and the only one worth buying.

Decide what's more important. Battery, power, weight or price? You can't have them all optimal. Dell XPS 15 is a light with good battery and great specs, but it's expensive.

LG gram 15 is light weight with great battery life, but it's again - expensive.

I'm just informing you of how things usually work.. Check Dave 2D channel on youtube, he makes laptop reviews. You'll find something for yourself there.

Oh I see so that's how they differ.

Thanks for being straightforward, Yes I know that there's no such thing as a laptop that would have all the things I want from that price point if I want all of those I need to at least stretch out my budget to 2000$. That's why I said I want it to be light as it can be. Unfortunately the 7577 is still not available here locally. Have checked out Dave's channel he has an awesome content but still I'm at lost at what laptop model should I get as of now the only thing on my mind is the Dell 7577 and the Helios 300 that has the specs I want and that is in my price range.

Edit: I have found another one that got my interest if you were to choose from The Asus GL703 Scar(This is a 1050ti version only), Dell 7577 or the Acer Predator Helios 300 what would you choose?

What? It's a solid built laptop, good build quality, good cooling, long battery life, other factors are OK, only ruined by the poor TN panel (some regions comes with IPS)

Oh yeah Dave mentioned if you can get the IPS panel of the 7567 that would justify your purchase.

This one is imo the better choice, although I don't know the configurations that bring out the best of it.

Sorry for replying so late, I wasn't online much.

Here's a review of it from dave if you haven't seen it already. I don't know if it's the same spec config tho.

Thanks I'm also leaning toward in getting this. Watched Dave's review and he said it's a pretty good choice also. I'm just torn between if I should get the Scar or the Hero edition Dave said in his review that the Scar edition is on par with the best TN panel that he has seen on a laptop screen but I don't know if whether I should go with the Hero edition which is the 120Hz IPS but is only 15.6" should I just go with the no brainer IPS master race or would be the 17" TN panel be fine as of now I only found Scar editions in the stores that I looked into. The spec config that I only saw is with the 7700HQ gtx 1050 1tb hdd+128gb ssd sata(i think) 8g or 16gb only and is price around 1500$ here in my country. The spec config of Dave's review unit has the 1060 other than that i think it's the same.

but is only 15.6"

I can confirm that it might feel claustrophobic in some games, specially fps.. I have a 17 inch laptop and even then I struggle to really enjoy anything fast pace on it. My 25 inch desktop monitor is what I'd call minimum for enjoyable gaming. But I don't game so much on my laptop even though it's capable of it.. and when I use it for school and move it around and take it with me somewhere, it's a pain. Just utter pain. So I'd trade it for a 15inch any day of the week.

I'd say that 15 inch is the best balance between size and portability. And about the screen. Dave is super critical about screens, so when he says that a TN panel is really good, it's probably way better than even most IPS panels out there. And 120hz is the holy grail of gaming. It's not Gsync I believe so you get to use optimus, which will make your battery life better since you're not using dedicated GPU all the time.

And I strongly advise investing in 16gb RAM model. 8gb doesn't cut it anymore.. sadly

Just stopping in to also say... I have a 17 inch bulky laptop that is just not effective for travel. I'd definitely lean towards 15 inch screen.

Thanks for your input, I think I'll just go with the hero edition. Just hope that I could find a retailer that has one or can make an order if not, I'll just go with the scar 17" as a last resort.

And what about the msi's GS series? For example Msi GS63VR stealth pro 469 is a pretty nice build and around 1500 $

The GS series especially the GS63VR stealth pro is really overpriced here in the Philippines it costs around 2000$ here and is way out of my budget.
