keyboard + mouse not working while installing windows 7

Are those USB keyboard/mouse?

If so, make sure that every USB support option is enabled in BIOS, and that the keyboard and mouse are plugged into USB 2.0 ports (USB 3.0 support will come only after you install the motherboard drivers in Windows).

That's bad news (and a design flaw in my opinion, compatibility issues go beyond Windows 7). Your keyboard and mouse won't work on Windows 7 if plugged in USB3 ports unless you load USB3 drivers somehow from the installation screen. If your motherboard has PS/2 ports(s), you cna use a USB to PS/2 adapter and hook the keyboard there.

I still don't understand what you are saying. Which flash? Why is it relevant?

OK, as I said, then you can't do it without installing drivers first. Windows 7 will only take USB 2.0 or PS/2 during installation.

Try plugging them in and out few times. Its annoying, but also only way. Another way is to use case headers, if you have USB2 there.

You need to do it while in installer. I think 3rd was when it started working for me when I last reinstalled.
