Hi Guys,

I'm currently planning to build a pc based on a ryzen 3 1200 and wondering which motherboard is good.

I have the following options for a budget board:

(1) https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-AB350M-HD3-rev-10#kf

(2) http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/AB350M Pro4/index.asp

(3) https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/AB350M-HDV/index.asp

If possible I would like to have an informed comment on which I should choose. THANKS!

Pro4, should be the cheapest, you just want a fan over the VRM For overclocking.

Anything with a decent 4+3 set up is also likely fine, but the Pro 4 has alright heatsinks as well

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

You need a medical help.

Ryzen 3 does pull only very small amount of power, even R5 1600 at 3.7 or so is not so power hungry.

You dont need a fan for that.

Don't buy Apple M1 computers with 8GB of RAM

Putting a fan over the VRM isn't going to hurt anything right? Can only help?

It wont help you with a 4 core, only make airflow worse, bigger noise and eat up space
