Hi everyone! I have just finished installing a new GTX1050 GPU in my computer, nothing (as far as I noticed) went wrong, but in the GPU ports (HDMI, DVI-D and DisplayPort) I have tried connecting a TV to the first two ports and booting my Pc... nothing happened, no video output was detected. Then I removed the GPU (my motherboard has an incorporated R7 GPU) to try to get an image... nothing either.

soooo what did I do wrong? Did I screw something up? Or I’m just missing something? Thanks :)

More info needed, what specs has your PC got exactly and how long have you had it, like is this a new build?

Hook your display up to your motherboard so you (hopefully) get an output, then go into the bios and find the settings to change from onboard video to PCIe.

Usually the setting is "default graphics" or something similar.

It’s an A10 7850k CPU on a ASUS a68hm-k motherboard (this model has a Radeon R7 GPU incorporated) I have this build for a year or so.

OK, in that case, you should let it carry on for a little while after boot, it sometimes take ryzen a little longer to notice hardware changes. If it still doesn't take, then straight after pressing start mash the [del] button to see if you can get into the BIOS, and as @RKRiley said there should be an option in there to change default GPU settings. If nothing shows up still, then yes you may have to plug the display back into the mobo to alter the BIOS settings.
