botw horse armor

so I just borrowed the horse rider amiibo but when I use it it doesn't give me any horse armor! am I doing something wrong? all I have is the monster, royal, and the extravagant armor. is that all the horse armor there is? what is it

Um?  I think you are a bit mixed up.  The armor is from the Wild DLC Pack: The Champion’s Ballad.  The amiibo only gives a saddle for the horse.

wait but it said on a couple of forums it gives you a saddle and brittle you don't need any dlc

Saddle yes, armor no.  I have the same amiibo along with all the other BOTW amiibos.  It will give a saddle, but I never seen armor come from it.

oh... but I still don't get a saddle do I need the dlc or is it that it was borrowed

You should get a saddle (I don't have any of the DLCs myself), but unsure in the case of a borrowed amiibo.
