Hello,

im about to build my first PC rig, i tought about an i5-8600k and GTX 1080 build. Due to aviability issues with the I7-8700k.

Im mostly gaming on it with maybe some small Deep Learning in between. I would like to play 1080p / 144Hz on all games on max settings and one Monitor.

Im mainly playing Warframe, Planetside 2 and Evolve stage 2.

Budget is around 2500-2600CHF (Swiss Francs) at https://www.digitec.ch/en wich is probably the cheapest merchant in Switzerland.

I already got a Roccat Kone EMP for a Mouse, Monitor is going to be Asus -VG248QE, Keyboard Cooler Master L.

So, is everything Compatible and will there be Any Bottlenecks?

here the lists:

Get a 1700 over 1800x and OC to same level.

OP is just gaming at 1080, the 1700 will give no advantage.

I'd go for 1440p, but maybe OP is one of those weirdos who swears by 144Hz, and says that 60Hz looks like shit (hence why he's spending so much on a 1080p build).

Quote me to see my reply!

Get some cheaper ram as 3600 MHz is hella expensive (3000 or 3200 is fine), and a normal 500gb sata ssd should be ok. The case is a bit expensive and I would get a better psu (look for evga g2/G3, corsair RMx/rmi, whisper m, and focus plus gold).

I think if you went for a cheaper cooler, motherboard, ram, and case you might even be able to squeeze in a 1080 ti.

I personally don't see the point of an R7 CPU for 1080p gaming.

Plus 1800x is bad value compared to a 1700

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.
