The temps in my H440 are really bad and was wondering if i got

Corsair Air Series AF120 x5

2 For Top Intake

and the other 3 to replace the default case fans in the front.

also getting Corsair Air Series AF140 For the rear exhaust.

and then getting a Cryorig H7 To Replace the hyper 212

Specs

I7 6700k

Hyper 212 Evo

Msi Gtx 1070

H440

Temps

Cpu : 45c Idle jumps up to around 80 - 85c playing pubg

Gpu: 40c Idle  playing pubg it bounces up to 68c with gpu fans running at 70%

Thanks for the help :)

( i would also be getting Silverstone Tek 120mm Ultra Fine Fan Filter for the top 2 intake fans )

Are u planning to get the fan or u already have it?

Even with bad airflow your cpu wont be reach 85'c that is so high u might need to check the paste.

H440 has a bad airflow because it only has like 1 cutout on the side and 1 cutout below on the front panel.

The default fan is fine but if u want to replace it then its up you.

And u might want to set a custom fan curve for the GPU although 68'c at load is pretty good temp.

Im planning to get those fans unless you can suggest a better one for the same price

And replacing the default fans would be better temps right?

Same price? i am afraid i cant.

Yes but just manage your expectation cause it wont dramatically decrease your temp maybe 2'c or 3'c cooler.

If i were you i would keep the fan and use the money to buy better cooler for your CPU something like Be quiet dark rock 3 or noctua nh-d15 or get an AIO like Corsair H115i or kraken X62/x52

I had an H440. The stock fans are decent and are pretty quiet, I wouldn't say it's worth replacing them unless you're going for some RGB goodness. I have a HAF X now and temps are much better. I have a locked i5 and a 1060 so you're also putting out a bunch more heat than I was. I found taking off the front panel helped but that kind of defeats the point of the sexy quiet case since it's louder and ugly AF

So it would be better for me to just get the Noctua NH-D15 instead of any fans at all?

Yep but take note that cooler is BIG i mean BIG so be careful check your ram height or anything that can cause clearance issues.

afaik NH-D15 is the best air cooler out there it perform the same as high end AIO.

Well 212 Evo is a bugdet air cooler so dont expect too much from it.

Although i am sure that you must have a bad thermal paste or u might did something wrong when applying it.

It's a really awesome case, but if your ambients are high then it will struggle. It was a wonder to build in and everything had solid build quality. As suggested elsewhere I would go for a CPU cooler since your GPU temps are actually fine. Either a 240mm AIO or a nice beefy air cooler. I prefer air personally but remember that your airflow is still kinda restricted.

If you do replace the fans I would recommend static pressure fans for the front, and exhaust on top (helped me a lot, you could just move one of the front fans there) and keeping the stock rear one since it's actually pretty decent

Ok do you think there would be any problems with Corsair Vengeance  LPX 16gb And Msi z170 gaming m3

Do you think there would be problems for room?

Thanks , im most likely going to get the Noctua NH-D15 and then get 2  Af 120's for the top and if i do get those 2 fans i should set them as exhaust and not intake right?

Both must be set to exhaust. But I wouldn't bother replacing the rear 140mm.

That  Noctua will handle anything and last forever but if you're not overclocking you could go much cheaper. Just remember that there comes a point where you're throwing so much money at the case to try fix it that you might as well just sell it and grab a case you actually want and don't have to throw money at

yea i i really like the design of the h440 and i also wouldn't wanna try and get a new case to put everything in because im not to good at building the pc and this h440 build was my first one :P. I think once i get the new cpu cooler and the 2 fans the temps will be a lot better. 1 last thing if i get those fans and put them on top of the case should i buy some filters for the dust?

Nah, you don't need filters for exhaust fans since it's pulling air out the case (which is hopefully reasonably dust free). The H440 also has the top panel which prevents dust falling in. I really don't think it's necessary to replace the rear 140mm since it's quiet and pushes decent amounts of air. You'd get more benefit from like a Af120 on top and 1 or 2 SP120s on the front

You'll have a higher amount of exhaust relative to intake... so what that means is that you'll be pulling air through the unfiltered nooks and crannies of the case and ending up with a bunch more dust. I would just put one exhaust on top closest to the back, and then you should be fine. If you like you could also replace some of the front fans since that'll yield more return for the money.

I do agree with all the previous posts, adding fans will help. Another thing you could do is make sure you installed the cooler correctly and that your thermal paste isn't complete garbage.

just re applied thermal paste and now its idling around 30 - 37 so its a lot better than what it was

hopefully it doesn't jump up to 80 - 90c under load

Test it. Also check if voltages are issue here. Third thing I would recommend is changing top fans to exhaust. single exhaust is imo too little for 5 intakes.
