SSD present help

We want to buy our dad a SSD for his laptop as a christmas present. He really doesn't need much space and therefore we decided to go with a 120GB SSD. We have a budget of about 50€. Two options I checked out were the WD green 120GB and the Kingston SSDNow UV400. But other options would be possible as well. But I really need recommendations.

a friend of mine has be using the UV400 for serveral months now in his pc - with no issues

and he boots large games off it

and uses it for music production as well with no issues

When buying SSDs at this present date and time you to make sure you go with Samsung then Sandisk then toss up with all other major brands.
