If you adjust the graphical in-game settings and is pairing this 1070 Ti with a decent CPU it should do very fine for 1080p144hz, PUBG is the only exception but that's because the game engine is extremely rough and unoptimized yet so even with an i7 8700k and 1080 Ti it still runs relatively poorly.

You could hit 1080p 144 on Doom and CSGO definitely. PUBG and ARK might not hit that mark.

You got the card before knowing how it would perform? That's not wise.

IF you don't mind lowering details, yeah sure you will reach it on all games. If you want to play maxed, no. PUBG and ARK in particular are really.. not well optimized.

It would be very helpful if you posted the entire system settings, if you pair a 1070 Ti with a Pentium 4 you'll get 1fps in PUBG... see why it is hard to tell you what you want to know when you don't tell us what we need to know first?

You can if you want write down your specs on your signature in here:

https://linustechtips.com/main/settings/signature/

I strongly advise you doing so if you don't want to write in the thread for whatever reason because nobody in here goes to any one's profile to see their specs, it is time consuming.

I have a 1080ti, and a 1440p 165hz monitor.

On PUBG, with mostly Low settings apart from 1 or 2, I hover around 80fps for the most part so no you will be nowhere near. As for ARK, you'd have to run on the lowest settings to stay at 140+. For example I get above 120 at all times with Medium-High mix flying around on a griffin, but when you go down to some more congested areas it drops to 70-80. Those games are just not well optimized so it's expected.

CSGO and Doom will run over 140fps so no problem there.

Looking at the system now I can safely say you'll have a very decent gaming experience, do overclock every thing, CPU, Memory and GPU for that extra juice.

Only game that will give you issue is PUBG but that's the game's fault as every one has been saying.

Yeah CS GO you could probably play 1440p and still get 144hz wit it doom you should be good, PUBG turn down the settings and I have never played ark.

But as PUBG get more and more optimized you will get better fps numbers.

I agree, all the games will run perfectly at 1080p, even 1440p would be no problem, except for PUBG but we all know how bad PUBG is running :P
