Mouse for extremely large hands?

So, to make a long story short, I need a mouse for extremely large hands. I am talking 26cm in length from tip of the middle finger, to base of the palm. The deathadder and G502 are nowhere near large enough for a palm style grip, and I've looked at every mouse currently available at Microcenter, and none are anywhere near being large enough.

 

If anyone could recommend a mouse for ogre-sized hands, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Wow, that's amazing.  I'm not familiar with any normal consumer mouse that would be an appropriate size... the only thing that's coming to mind is trackballs as they tend to be larger, but beyond that I would think you may need to look into specialty things

That mouse was tried on display at Best Buy, nowhere near large enough. This is the current mouse in use: http://www.coolermaster.com/peripheral/mice/inferno/

I am currently looking at a review of the Zowie EC1-B, which is 3mm taller, 8mm longer, and 6mm thinner than the Inferno.

Do they have a page that lists the dimensions of the mouse after it's been transformed into it's largest form?

Are there companies that custom build mice? We've discussed making one out of wood or something like that, basically a shell to sit over top of a normal sized mouse. Options are looking pretty grim.

Perhaps but I was thinking more like companies that make a variety of odd stuff, including accessible things for the disabled, etc.  They might also offer super large things, things with odd shapes, etc.  idk what's out there, just a thought.

I just saw a picture of someone placing foam/rubber over their mouse to make it larger. Perhaps doing something like that?

A gillion coats of plasti-dip? That's actually pretty genius...Might have to try that. The rubber grip will also help as well.

Looks more like rubber cement. I'm guessing he applied the cement to a stenciled piece of waxed paper so it would wrap evenly.

 

Drawing on that thought, maybe tennis grips or other tacky materials?

There is RAT 7 used in this forum thread that a guy has a 27cm Hand spam and added some tape to it after making th mouse as big as possible . He says its perfect. With your slight smaller hand might get away without the tape.

Same problem here man. I just kind of learned to deal with it while using my cheap 5 dollar logitech mouse. I found that some ergo mice that are a little thicker than most can be pretty comfortable especially after using it for a while. With the smaller and lighter mice my fingertips sometimes touch my desk.

Usually u want mouse that is 60% sized of your hands.

So something like G502,Zowie EC series,Deathadder,Rival 300,Roccat kone emp,and cougar 550m should be fine.

I wonder how hard it would be to take the guts out of a quality mouse (sensor, etc.) and stick it in the larger body of one of these huge novelty mice?

I've been thinking about that. I have a spare G403, might see how difficult a transplant would be. I mean, anything is possible with a dremel, right?

I would think moving one or two components might be a pain or even nearly impossible since you'd have to modify circuitry, but if you just took literally everything, I can't imagine it not working.
