Looking for new headphones.

Closed over-ear headphones with detachable/replaceable 3.5mm cable.

 

Something better than the broken $20 Sennheiser HD 201 they're replacing, but not too expensive because I don't have that much money.

Errr... There ain't much you can get under $50. I'm scratching my head to find something decent and the only thing that comes to mind is the Sennheiser HD461.

$50. This Sennheiser HD461 is highly recommended from the audio guru named Innerfidelity. It's just a decent headphone regardless of price.

Yeah, these things. These Sennheiser headphones sound pretty flat so the bass and highs might seem lacking to some.

The Audio Technica ones for ~150 on his wall of fame looked kinda nice. I'm not sure I'd want to spend that much though. The build quality looked nice to me though.
