i play most esport titles, AAA games and indies (looking to expand my game library)

want to play at 80 fps plus at 1440p

For me I would go with 1080 . To get the same performance with the 1070 TI you have to overclock, that mean more heat, life span shorter ( speculation here ). 

 

The 50.00$ is worth it IMO
