Quick question about the Hyper 212 Evo

I recently installed a Hyper 212 Evo last night on my Z87 Extreme 4 and it seemed to be very tight and I imagine is putting a huge amount of pressure on the CPU die.

Is this normal? I have never installed an aftermarket heatsink before so I have no idea of the amount of pressure that should be being put on the die.

I am probably just worrying too much as usual. (I bottomed out the screws as recommended by 2 videos that I took a look at.)

Yes its normal, it will only go down as far as the bracket allows it too, you can't damage anything.

Screw down the screws so they are "snug" not tight, just snugly on there.

as long as u dont over tighten its normal.

At least it's not like my TX3, where the stock bracket was bent and I have to use the one that came with the stock heatsink, and it's a little loose.
