PC problems

Hi.

This is my first post. I have a problem with my pc. When i run GTA 5, Wildlands or somthing of that scale my pc chashes. but my stresstests is fine. I have changed the ram and motherbord with no changes. Is it my Cpu or gpu. Hope some can help.

 

I7-5960x

gtx 1080 ZOTAC AMP Extreme - 8GB

32 GB dominator ddr4 ram

Asus x99 motherbord

do you get a bluescreen?

ask me about your system builds, AIO's, CPU's, PSU's, and GPU's.

By "stress test" do you mean a GPU benchmark like 3Dmark or CPU stress test like Prime95? Have you done any overclocking? What's the temperatures like?

Hi. No bluescreen.The game freezes and shuts down.

Hi. Yep them. I don´t have any overclock at this point. And the temp seems fine. 74 +/- at load.

can you open the event manager after second after the crash happens and tell me the first three error codes (red and yellow)

ask me about your system builds, AIO's, CPU's, PSU's, and GPU's.

I assume he wants you to open event viewer which is found in the Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools

He might need to show either the Administration events which you should find in custom views.

Or Application and services Logs.

right click on the windows logo in the right corner and click on event viewer 

ask me about your system builds, AIO's, CPU's, PSU's, and GPU's.
