Network/Internet ain't working on my PC

Hey guys,my PC is connected to internet via a ethernet cable which is connected to a laptop that bridges my WiFi to the ethernet cable so I can have internet on my PC.Problem is that since yesterday,the PC shows a limited access symbol and well it's that.My PC is unable to access the internet NOR the network drives that were hosted by my laptop.And it's not near possible for me to not have internet lol.So what can I do to fix it?Have been diagnosing it from long and no luck.Cable may or may not be working though it worked on a different machine (a LAPTOP) and I've confirmed it's not a OS problem as trying it in Linux (lubuntu) showed same results.So what can I do? I hope I don't come to the conclusion that my 2 month old ASUS Prime B350M-A motherboard's ethernet port is already DEAD.

I don't ahve a solution for you at the moment. I can ease you mind a bit though by telling you that it's highly unlikely that your ethernet port on the motherboard is dead... so no need to worry about that.

Do I get a new ethernet cable to see if the one I use is bad?

Not necessarily, you can connect other devices to the existing one to see if they work correctly... if they do then it's most likely a configuration problem.

I did try connecting one of my laptop's directly to the router with it...it worked.... But how can it be a config problem if it was working before.

I don't know, but that's networking for you... sometimes things break. Could be something in windows changed, a driver update or whatever. Run through the config again, same as you did last time to get it working is my advice. If it still won't work, then personally I would just get a wireless card for the PC. It's more likely that something on the client side (PC) that caused the problem IMO.

Yes you were right.After troubleshooting with 3 different laptops

I come to a conclusion that i literaly had to run 2 scans with malwarebytes.It Fixed it 

Conclusion: Im dumb
