Hi guys can anyone help me pls i just got 2 more ram sticks i previously had 2 times 4gb now i want to add 2 more but the issue is that when i insert the ram my pc wont boot i tried with second pair alone and it works so ram is ok also tried second dual channel slots also working they only dont work when all sticks are inside

Are they the same type of ram?.... There are sometime compatiability issues with seperate kits of ram

What version of Windows are you running? 32-bit, or 64-bit? If it's 32-bit it will only recognize a maximum of 4gb of RAM. If this is not the issue, please include more information about your hardware. What motherboard, etc. would be very helpful.

I encountered similar problem as yours before. My solution was booting with 1 stick first, then subsequently add another when it booted until all 4 were installed.
