and? the 580 performs about the same as the 1060 6gb, while having freesync to make gameplay much smoother.

You can edit his pcpartpicker and swap it if you want it that much or get another GTX1060 other than the strix which is the one that cost $100 more than one from gigabyte.

not an AMD fan plus doesn't the GTX 1060 6gb Asus Strix OC have g-sync?

Yes but a G-Sync monitor is out of your budget, while freesync is affordable.

So free sync is more budget based? whats the best budget card for performance i want to run games like Middle-earth shadow of war in like ultra 1080p with like 40-60 fps.

Freesync isn't a proprietary standard like GSync, so you don't pay Nvidia tax for your monitor (which can be a 300+ premium)

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

Quick google found some reviews and rx580 seems to do better than a 1060...

There's an RX580 in some charts above the 1060 I'm to lazy to read it all but you can :P

oh, i see, in Herman's build what can be changed to reduce the price? but doesn't affect performance

SSD's are really great to have but you could get a smaller one.

Could go for 2 x 4GB RAM or a single  8GB and add another later when you got the money.

I don't know @herman mcpootis did a great job putting that together.
