Chiclet Keyboard

Do you think I will run into any lagging issues with the Microsoft Surface keyboard in any games? I have rechargeable batteries that I use, so battery replacement is not a worry. I want a wireless keyboard that has chiclet keys, since I move around a lot when I am sitting at my desk. I love the chiclet keys and plus mechanical keyboards just make too much noise (at least to me).

Instructions for frustration management:  

1) Sit at desk.   2) Repeatedly slam forehead against desk.

 

I never said I was smart, just smart enough to be dangerous.

It should be fine. I would get MX Reds or Silents (Silents feel pretty bad IMO) with O-rings. It becomes pretty quiet. The Reds feel kind of like really good membranes but with a consistent, smooth press.

Logitech recently released a wireless mech keyboard but it's rather expensive and not very premium

That, and it is fairly large. Macrokeys on a keyboard are a complete killer. I go back and forth from my drawer to the top of my desk, so space can be and is limited. Good suggestion though.

Yeah.  To be clear, it is probably the best wireless keyboard you can get for a variety of other reasons, but the cost, size, and overall feel (for the price) may not be for everyone

So, @Ryan_Vickers and @Daniel Z. (for some reason it is not pulling you up), you think the surface keyboard won't cause lagging issues or anything like that?

I'm not familiar with its input lag numbers, but I would expect them to be typical of non-logitech wireless products, so in other words worse than wired, but nothing out of the ordinary for you since you're already used to it.
