So I am building my first gaming pc. I want to play PubG, H1Z1, Fortnite, CS:GO, stream, twitch, watch youtube and have multiple tabs open in my browsers. Spending quite a few dollars so want to make sure my rig is good. In my build I have included a Asrock Taichi x370, however It is no longer available in my country which is shit. So I am looking for another motherboard which I overclock my ryzen 1700 to around 3.8-4.0 ghz, ram to 3200mhz and have everything at good temps. Bare in mind It will be first time overclocking. If the anyone in the community has any suggestions or quirks about this build please let me know. Thanks. Much Appericated. :)

Those prices all seem excessively high...

but other than that, looks like a very solid build :)

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Are you planning on streaming/content creating at all?

if not, then 8th Gen intel processors will probably be a better buy

How much can you spend on the mobo?

I am already spending x amount on the whole build. What I spend on the motherboard is irrelevant now as long as I get the best bang for buck, know its going to work 100%, going to at least last me 3 years, has wifi and gets my 1700 to 3.8 or 4.0 ghz and ram to 3200 mhz it does not matter. :)

On a side note what monitor are you using?

Yeah that is one thing to consider, if you're playing at 1080p and want the highest possible fps for a 144+ Hz monitor, and/or you're only gaming and nothing else, a 8700k or 8600k would probably do better for less (or at least the same) money.

Also, nothing wrong with that HDD, but the sweet spot for GB/$ tends to be around 3 - 4, leaning more to 4 these days, so if there's a chance you could need more than 1 TB, I'd go for it.  That said you never want to buy more storage than you need since it gets cheaper so quickly and consistently but still, something to think about.

Tell me about it. I emailed retailers and they said thier suppliers have no stock so they cant restock the Asrock Taichi x370. I can buy it from newegg however if anything happens to the board after 15 days, the manufacture and newegg take no responsibility. Some sort of policy or etc I asked a chat representative.

Good to know, I know many people with really good gpus and cpus but are on 1060p 60hz. My friend got a 7700k and a 1080 and yet he still is on an old monitor that is 1080p and 60hz.

xD true, they have had a much rockier life so far but HDDs at least have been moving steadily down in price per GB for a long time now

Yeah but no one in the country has any in stock or is able/willing to get on ordered. I can order it through newegg, however after 15 days is anything happens to the board etc, newegg and Asrock take no responsibility. Otherwise I would of just bought the Asrock, still a option I am considering of doing and taking the risk.

What ever motherboard you settle on, make sure you check the manufacturers website to find an approved RAM list for it.  Otherwise you are gambling that you can get the ram to run at higher speeds.

The only mobo that comes to mind is the CH6/wifi

Want to custom loop?  Ask me more if you are curious

There arent any motherboards with wifi that are good in your region so you would have to buy an addin card.

ROG STRIX X370-F GAMING

ROG CROSSHAIR VI HERO

These are the only offerings equal to the taichi and the x370f is still worse. Choose which one your willing to pay for cause theres a decent gap.
