phone screen not working properly

I got a replacement screen for my Oukitel k6000 pro since part of the screen was not registering touch. The screen arrived and after changing it didn't work properly. Screen's backlight turned on with the phone, but nothing showed up. When the phone was started, I could adjust the brightness normally but the screen would remain blank. The old screen worked fine. The seller said the screen had been tested and it worked. I've tried to wiggle the connectors with no luck. Anyone have any ideas what to do to get the screen to work?

@Jugiizz Did you try connecting the old one back to see if is a fault with the phone or the screen?

 

Because atm looks like a screen problem if the Touch abilities is registering but the display doesn't want to show.

the old screen works just fine. Oh and the seller said that the old screen is an older model of the same screen as the replacement. He suggested updating the firmware but i already have that up to date.
