Similar, except it takes account for the power available rather than GPU temperature headroom.

Not as I know of, as far as I know it is just turbo boost, gives you a little extra when it is needed

I think GPU boost 1.0 works the same it just doesn't take into account Temperature of the card.

My 680 has the boost clock but then if check the clock speed in games it's higher than the rated boost speed so I think it does boost the card up more.
