My 2017 Black Friday Build

Hey, new member here. Decided to pull the trigger yesterday and bought a new desktop (well most of it). This isn't my first build but it has been a while (my last build had a QX9650 CPU and a 3870 X2 GPU). I joined the military 6 years ago and when that one died (100lb dog barreled into it) I switched to laptops for use on deployments and having both wasn't an option. Enough backstory, on to the build.

Let me know what you think about choices and prices. Got some deals, paid full price for some, and I know timing might be poor on a 1080ti, with GTX 20x0 around the corner, but hopefully someone will be interested in a discount on this GPU when that time comes.

Im considering live building this on twitch, but i need some help.

I'm looking at a EKWB for the cpu and and VRM in one, but...i was thinking it might be cool to get an entry air cooler for cheap and comparing its stock idle load/one click OC idle load, to the EKWB CPU only solution, and then the cpu vrm block. (im sure its been done butnot by me and i enjoy this crap) Might even delid the 8700k later depending on how good it performs.

SO i need to decide on what to buy before this all gets here

.Let me know that suggestions you have for an air cooler, and also whether i should nut up and do my first hardline tube build. Currently got an old DangerDen case this is gonna go in (fits a 480 rad and has a 360 in it...ill post some pics) and its huge, so i think it will be a good first case to do hardline in.
