Why is this so cheap is this worth it?

Building. Ryzen 5 1600 decided if I’m going to be paying well over price for RAM I might as well go all out RGB.

Even though its temp out if stock this Trident RGB RAM seems cheaper than its suppose to be. Yes but the corsair LPX is more if not same price and its non RGB

With the current RAM Market, it's a decent price.

don't get that kit. it's the CL16 one and it's very likely not to work at the XMP speed

dude, not even close.

2966 is easy on AM4 with a 3200 rated kit if you have the latest BIOS

it really depends on the board that's why i said it's not very likely to work. i've actually tested this. this kit might boot to 2966 on a soft launch but it will boot loop it afterwards on most boards

that board is really not great. i know brand love and all but it's not a great board. the only board i'd recommend from b350 is either some of the MSI ones i have actually worked with or the asrock board buildzoid recommends

well they're sale is bs you actually only save around 40quid from the price but yeah it's much much better than anything you would buy on B350 chipset
