I have an 120GB SSD OS drive and I have a 4TB hard drive. Can I use optane to accelerate my 4TB HDD? Thanks :)  (I have a compatible motherboard)

Yes, thats what optane is designed for, hard drive acceleration. It basically is a cache for the hard drive of which caches your frequently used programes/files/games, and accelerates them like an SSD would but at a much faster rate. Optane also has its own memory as in it remembers what programes you use, sometimes it will forget what programe you are using. Optane typically comes in smaller capacities which are cheaper, but you wont be able to cache lots of programes due to the space limitations, there are other options with optane, but they consists of higher capacities at significantly higher prices. So, I'd recommend getting another SSD, such as 500GB crucial MX-300. Having that extra SSD capacity allows more frequently used games/files to be loaded quicker while having more storage to do so. You could get another hard drive as an alternative, but an SSD will give more in terms of sequential read and write speeds when it comes to acessing data at a much faster rate.
