This might be a stupid question as i am not that of an experienced builder

I bought a Corsair hydro series H115i CPU cooler earlier this year. Lately i have been interested in water cooling my GPU aswell. The reason i want to modify the CPU cooler to contain the GPU in the same loop is because i want to fit it into a corsair carbide clear 400c midi tower. This case does not have any room in the front for the H115i and a 120mm radiator and fan that comes with a hybrid GPU card or something similar.

basically i want to use the same radiator to cool both the CPU and GPU. Is the H115i possible to install new tubes in and include the GPU into the same loop without breaking it? What parts will be necessary to achieve this? Is it capable of handling overclocked CPU and GPU?

The current graphics card is a 680. Thinking about upgrading it soon.

for a CPU+GPU loop the bare minimum is 360mm i believe. i haveboth a CPU and my GPU on a 240mm rad in a custom parralel loop, and i get temps up to the high 80's. definitely not ideal!

in the bottom screenshot is in a 99% GPU load scenario.

Totally agree with @RollinLower. You need at least 360 for CPU + GPU watercooling.

Also I might add from personal experience, the pump in the AIO might not be powerful enough to handle the GPU as well. I modified a Cooler Master Nepton 240M in order to make the tubing longer and noticed that the pump is quite weak. Not sure with the H115i one but considering that you want to add the GPU as well I'm 99% that it wont be able to handle the entire loop.

So considering these 2 facts, small rad and weak pump, I wouldn't recommend doing that.

But, if you like testing things, and have to money to spare you could try and do that. For the fun of it and for science purpose :)
