How do you remove windows from hdd

I migrated my entire disk C into a new SSD. After I boot up I notice that the Windows file are still there and can't be deleted.

 I try to transfer the ownership from trustedinstaller but I can't find the option in advanced setting.

Also how do you combine two partition of the Hdd together?

I want my hdd to be shown as Disk D only as Disk D and E bring me confusion

Go to windows disk management, delete all the partitions on the HDD, then create "new simple volume".

This wipes the whole drive.

If you want to keep data you need to move it to somewhere else first, like maybe your SSD or an external drive.
