Probably because the case cant fit a 140mm one...

Probably because the case cant fit a 140mm one...

There are 140mm and 120mm fan heatsinks that are the same size.

The size of the case fans doesn't matter. What you want is to first make sure the height of the heatsink is less than the max cpu cooler height for the case.
