Redownload the tool from here or get the ISO from here and burn it to USB using RUFUS
Anyway heres the steps
So before you begin you'll need
A working Windows 10 installer (USB or DVD)
Your Windows 10 key
Also please unplug all your other hard drives except your Windows drive (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT)
Obviously back up anything that's important to you before you begin
Phase 1
1) Reboot your system then head into UEFI, set the following options as I list them (if they're already that way then leave them be)
(I STRONGLY recommend you create a profile backup of your current UEFI settings before you mess with anything so you can revert if required)
Compatibility Support Module or CSM - Disabled
UEFI Fast Boot - Enabled
UEFI Secure Boot - Enabled (This option is not really required, if you cant find it don't worry to much)
Full Screen Logo - Enabled (Again optional but gives you a cool new boot animation)
2) Now save and exit (usually hit F10) then make sure Windows at least tries to boot. If Windows boots normally or boots and then blue screens your good to continue, if you get stuck on a UEFI error message then don't continue and instead note the error down then go back into UEFI, reload the saved profile and come and post the message.
Phase 2
1) Insert the Windows Installer into your PC, reboot and boot from the installer (making sure you choose the UEFI boot option from the boot menu if there are multiple choices)
2) Follow the wizard through until the hard drive partitioning screen then stop
3) Hit Shift+F10 to open a command prompt
4) Enter these commands one at a time pressing enter after each one (IF YOU DIDN'T UNPLUG YOUR HARD DRIVES THEN THIS INFO WILL NOT BE CORRECT AND WILL PROBABLY FORMAT THE WRONG DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!)
diskpart
select disk 0
clean
convert gpt
exit
If you didn't unplug your extra drives then do this (note i'm not responsible if you format the wrong drive
diskpart
list disk (and note down the ID number of your windows drive)
select disk x (replace x with the ID number you noted down)
clean (Doing this will erase EVERYTHING, make sure you got the right drive)
convert gpt
exit
5) Then close the command Window (click the X at the top) and carry on with the Windows install wizard until Windows is installed and you're at desktop.
Phase 3
1) Shut down your PC and reconnect all your other drives again
2) Download/install drivers for all your hardware
3) Install your Apps again
Enjoy your new Windows install. Now thats done your PC will be running in UEFI boot mode and any future reinstalls/upgrades should just work with no extra steps.
