Okay I just had very bad temp problems. I already replaced my thermal paste three times to no avail. My Computer shuts down every time it reaches 80+ Celsius when idling with a chrome bar. (Takes about 6-8 minutes to shut down)

CPU cooler is amd stock cooler (it spins at 2000+ rpm) and I just bought the components five days ago. how do I even go about fixing this?

An AMD CPU shouldn't be reaching 60C, let alone 80.

Are you sure the cooler is making proper contact with the CPU?  It seems there's no heat dissipation going on at all.

Well I pressed it quite firmly. It never happened before when I didn't install any windows update but I don't think it would contribute so much of a difference
