First build problems

       Hello, I’ve recently built my first PC using the asus B350-F gaming motherboard, a ryzen 5 1500x chip, and a gtx 1070 graphics card.  My pc will randomly flash to black screen then back, but not reset.  It’s crashes with little to no activity. And whenever I try to load and run a game it either crashes the game or my PC with the video error. Also I’m running windows 10 64bit OS. any advice would be very much appreciated.  Thank you.

What do you mean by randomly?

Sometimes in chrome.  There will still be sound just black screen. I also don’t know if my monitor is a problem. Until my actual one comes I’m using my 4K tv

Do you have the most updated bios?

I am unsure. This is my first PC. The friend I had help me build it said that everything was fine there.

Please forgive my lack of knowledge on this subject, but guessing that PSU means power supply unit, 650W

Have you updated your GPU drivers?

CORSAIR TX Series TX650M 650W 80+ Gold Modular Power Supply. I used the GeForce experience to update my drivers

Assuming your using an HDMI cable to connect to your TV, you might want to try using it with the cable plugged into the motherboard instead of the graphics card. (for troubleshooting.)

Did it work ok before you updated the gpu drivers?

I know somebody who's pc would randomly just turn off instantly. With them, they had got a windows 10 disk off a dogey seller on eBay. Have you got official win 10? If not, try everything that the others suggest first (in reason) before trying to replace windows.  That might be the problem though.

Didn’t try it before. When plugged into the motherboard nothing appears. I got windows from amazon with a key card

I wouldn't suggest playing games with the HDMI plugged into the motherboard, although just let it run to see if the screen ever turns black.

When it "crashes", does the screen just go black, but the fans stay spinning and the lights all remain on? If so, the power cable feeding the graphics card might be loose.

Still nothing on the screen maybe 3min after. I will check the power cable now.

Will my motherboard bios be a problem if it’s not up to date?  The gpu driver is from the 14th of this month

Okay. Bear with me here. The first pic is what my current system bios is and the second is what asus’s website says for the board. Should I download the one from the website?

Try it yeah. No harm.

Ryzen doesn't have integrated graphics.
