Dear people of the internet

I'm not sure what to do I'm building a computer for gaming (yes I know) and I've built a computer in my IT course at school, but I've never had to source the parts and things that you need. I probably make this bigger than what it is but, I need a little help. When you buy all of the parts additionally do you need to buy stand offs and other items to connect the motherboard (and other items) to the case? Thank you for your time.

It comes with the components. Case standoffs and other screws and mounting hardware come with the case. Motherboard I/O shield and usually some SATA cables for drives come with the motherboard (though cheap models frequently come with just two rather than four or more, which used to be more of an issue back when DVD drive + HDD + SSD was kind of common for builds). That kind of stuff.

Case comes with standoffs. Motherboard comes with sata data cables. Psu comes with all the cables you need if you buy the right one. I would just get extra zip ties to manage cables.

Unsure what power supply to pick?

Check out my HTPC build.
