PC gets stuck on the Bios 80% of the time when I boot up my computer and will sometimes boot to windows without a problem. I've have tried everything like resetting the CMOS, changing ram, removing all USB devices but the issue still persists.

I've tried restoring windows but the problem remained the same

SPECS:

CPU: i7 7700k (Factory)

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i v2

GPU: 1080ti (Factory)

Motherboard: Azus Z270 - AR

Storage: Samsung 500 GB 960 m.2 (windows installed) - Samsung 120gb SSD - Seagate  10TB - WD 2TB'

Memory: 2 x 8GB corsair 3000

PSU: 650 gold

USB: I usually have connected a wireless mouse, wired keyboard and Xbox controller

Other: Strix raid soundcard

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this problem has been bugging me for a month now

You need to not only change stuff out, buy get the PC down to the bare minimum parts to POST. This means:

Remove all the RAM except a single stick

Remove all storage devices including Hard drives, SSDs, DVD drives or anything I missed.

Remove your graphics card and use on-board graphics.

Unplug all USB devices including a keyboard and mouse. Use a PS2 keyboard and mouse if your have one. If you don't have a PS2 keyboard and mouse, unplug your USB keyboard and mouse and plug them in if you get into the bios.

Clear CMOS again for good measure.

This will eliminate as many points of failure as possible. We need to get your PC down to a bare minimum.

Ok thanks for your response i will try this and get back to you

I removed everything except for a single Ram slot and I just started connecting all the hardware one at a time and I got it working now! Could the issue of been a crooked Sata cable because when I first opened my case I noticed one of my sata cables were crooked/bent around another Sata cable. So everything is working now, no freeze on bios startup!

Thanks for the help
