Is it just "Bro Science" that your CPU shouldnt be higher than 60 C with no overclock and a aftermarket cooler?

Up to TjMax is okay, but the higher the temp, the higher the power leakage and degradation. But since you won't be keeping the CPU for lets say 10 years, temps around 70-80 are considered safe. Your 4690K had better thermal paste than the newer Intel releases, Intel is cheaping out, thus higher temps.
But yeah, bro science is wrong, don't let it fool you.
