CPU very high

mikey_far

I'm doing a charity stream shortly and im trying to get everything sorted and running for it.

Run into a big problem though. Whenever playing games (tried pubg and eso) the CPU is always sitting at 100% usage in task manager or High 90s.

Anyone have any suggestions? tried drivers for both restarts etc.

Is my graphics card on the way out?

Thanks in advance!

My friend seemed to suffer this issue a few weeks back. All of a sudden all his games would stutter (Fortnite and WW2) yet nothing he did could fix it. He reinstalled windows and its been perfect ever since.

I have AMD A10 7850 k. The pc runs fine CPU is normal until I boot up any game then it hits 96-100. Thought it could have been CPU trying to compensate for graphics card not doing it's job

It's an extremely old, extremely slow APU. Streaming is very CPU intensive and that CPU probably won't be up to the task while playing any games better than minesweeper. That's just my take. I hope you can find someone who can help you get it up and running!

I used to have an A10 7650K, it could barely handle games like gta V with lowest settings at 30fps without hitting 100% usage. No way you're going to stream and enjoy gaming on it at the same time.

Agreed it wont stream but I've got a 7650k with a GTX960, SSD, an 16GB's of DDR3 and it still plays most things really really well.

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...
