Swapped out the PSU for a larger one so you could expand in the future if needed and still have OC headroom but you can drop it back to a 650 if you don't think another GPU will be added. Other than that I did pick out a board with wireless built in and cut out the extra card. Obviously that was for this build option and if you go with Ryzen maybe see if there is a board with built-in wifi as well.

Why a 1TB NVMe SSD?

Why not a 500GB and some spinning platters for mass storage?

What's the end goal for the PC? Gaming? Productivity? Streaming?

This build looks really cool to me. And 8700k will push more fps when paired with 1080ti. 

I think that this definetely is a better option, if you can stretch the budget. 

More OC headroom as well..
