Cable mod cables

Hi there I’m buying a Silverstone - Strider Plus 850w 80+ silver modular psu and was looking at buying some white cable mod cables and was wondering exactly what type would work for it as I noticed there are a few different ones and LTT said that he had to use the corsair psu for type c but failed to explain why

(or) SST-ST85F-P

 

Make sure to pick the F-P and not the F-G for best compatibility.

What do you need that PSU for? How is your hardware, since you need that much wattage, but are still getting a very mediocre PSU? And why custom cables on a mediocre PSU?
