It is to power a system with an i7 4770k, non-oc, and GTX 670. I'm taking out its higher-rated (wattage wise) EVGA NEX750B PSU to power my budget server-build, with dual xeons and a R9 290, and putting a new PSU in.

I'm not entirely sure what the difference between the Corsair CX550 (white) and the CX600 (green) is, so insight into that would also be much appreciated. Thanks!

The CX550 is a newer and better unit than the CX600. The B1 isn't worth considering.

Get the CX550.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Corsair is fully capable of selling trash

Agreed, never ever ever go by brand.

Always look at the unit you are gonna buy, if it is good or not, if it is tested or not.

Alll brands have better and worse PSU and some even have some garbage...
