I think I have a virus on my pc! PLEASE HELP!

This has happened before but I keep getting these popups every two days and I know its some kind of adware or malware and I've tried malware bytes to get rid of it but it's not picking anything up... Also I don't trust any other free anti virus software because they might come packed with some viruses...

Are you sure? And how do I uninstall after i'm done?

You probably won’t want to, but if you do

1. Control Panel

2. In the search panel in the corner, type it “Uninstall A Program”

3. Click on “Uninstall A Program”

4. Find Avast, Click it and and uninstall button should appear.

Oh ok! Avast did find one virus and deleted it... Is that all I have to do or anything else to get rid of the virus? Also I will keep Avast!

Try running ADWcleaner, I've had excellent results when MalwareBytes fails to notice items after removal.

 

For example I recently removed Conduit and OpenCandy using Malwarebyes free, however upon reboot Malwarebytes found nothing, yet ADWcleaner found remaining files and was able to remove them, end result was a happy customer :)

 

I fully 100% recommend downloading it from this website.
