Especially at 1080p resolution, the 980ti was only released some what 2 years ago and it is still a good performer. It beats out a 1070 when overclocked, but not at stock speeds. 1080p is also the most popular resolution that lots of people predominately play their games on, so it will definitely last you a couple of years.
