ok so i am planning on building  anew pc this black Friday this is my first time building one on my own, i have some knowledge of pc components but take me as a noob.  what do you guys think of this build  any recommendations? also will have  a 8700k

also thinking of doing a black/white cable mod cables and the 2 ssds are for storage and mainly looks above the psu shroud the m.2 960's would be in raid 0 atleast this is all the plan

Crazy high end especially with SLI 1080ti but doesn't mean it's hard to build. I recommend getting VR with a build that crazy, it really deserves it. I don't like to spend too much time reviewing part list because I end up wasting soooo much time, all I'm gonna say is that it looks great and pretty much well balanced.

on a side note the cpu just came up as in stock should i jump on it asap or wait?

jump at it if you're sure you're building the PC because the 8700K is AMMAZIZNNNNNNNNNGg. I just love it for the price, nott sooo expensive for specs.

Well tbh, probably ask some more people because when it came out and a little after, it was hard to find but now I'm not sure although it's still popular. Askk more people and you probably should wait.

The reason for few replies might be that the build is so high end that component choice doesn't matter.

The Kraken X62 costs just $20 more than the H115i. Worth it, imo. Alternatively, the H110i for $40 less.

Do you really need all the features of the Maximus 10? There are lots of good and less expensive motherboards.

You can get fast 2x 16GB kits for $140 less than the kit you chose. 

Why 2 NVMe SSDs? A single one is fast enough for pretty much anything. 

The H440 is quite an old case. Have you considered the newer options?

The Corsair RMx is a bit cheaper than the G2, and should be quieter. The HX and P2 also cost around the same. 

The Corsair SP and AF fans are pretty bad. 

The support for SLI isn't great, in many games there will be little to no benefit. Unless the other programs really benefit from GPU acceleration, the money is better spent elsewhere. Or not spent at all.

prob dont need all the features on the mobo chose the one with best reviews  the memory kit was bc of the rgb, 2nvme mainly bc i can and i want to run them in raid 0 for boot up but perhaps i will scale it back to one. i will look into that more, power supply i will look into that also and the case i have looked at the h700i but its currently out of stock, and of the benchmarks i seen sli was a significant improvement

No, m.2 is almost the same. Do more research. If u don't like mATX then whatever.
