How do I fix a GPU fan?

Hey everyone, so I have recently discovered that my GTX 980 from MSI has a weird cooling can. At full fan throttle it starts speeding up then making a weird grinding noise then coming to a stop and then speeding up again, all the time. How do I fix this problem? Can I get the fan replaced? What do I do? All help will be greatly appreciated.

afaik, you can just replace your old ones with these
