Is having Dual Monitors worth it

I've been thinking of getting 2 1080p 27 inch 75hz dell monitors for a dual monitor setup but are dual monitors worth it? I do alot of stuff on my computer but i'm wondering if its gonna be worth the investment. I'm also trying to decide if i should get one 1080p 27 inch 75hz dell monitor & the 2nd monitor to be an Asus 1080 24 inch 144hz monitor with freesync

(My PC specs if you are curious: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/v3Vvpb)

What are you doing? If you are streaming and gaming yes. Coding? Yes one for code one for output. Business yes/no depends.

for productivity it is really nice, so yes I would say it is a good investment. Also to note that Nvdia GPUs do not work with Freesync.

The question is, what do you exactly do?

Basically, it is a very nice thing to have but if you only do simple stuff, you will not really get any benefit from it.

This is more of a personal preference, but I had a 3 monitor set up and i thought it was awesome untill I went ultra wide. I can connect 2 devices to the same Monitor and use at the same time or one awesome gaming experience.

So from my experience I’d say go for a single ultra wide monitor. If not than, one 144hz and one 75hz would be the better way to go if you’re into competitive games but if you’re more casual go for 2 75hz.

Are you only gaming on these monitors? I so you *could* live with one but a dual monitor would allow you to see system status, Skype Discord TS etc, and YouTube if that's your thing. Dual monitors for school is not really needed.
