2gb vs 4gb vram

what is the most important things while we choosing graphic cards? are we focus on the vram? or other specifications? please someone recommend me some tips to know ideal gpus at least the cheapest and lowest required graphic cards to all games. :ph34r: from linus' malaysian newbie

VRAM type is important. Skip over anything that isn't GDDR5(X) or HBM. 2nd is the amount of stream processors/cuda cores. The more the better. Then clock speed. The higher the better. For low end gaming 2GB of VRAM is enough, 3GB or more is nice to have for 1080p gaming with high settings and above.

1050/1050TI but id reccomend a 1060 6g if you can get one.

Assuming you pick a decent GPU, 4gb of VRAM minimum is what i'd look at.

2 GB will do the job for most minum or medium gaming needs, if you wanna go more serious you need atleast 4 GB, even GTX 1060 is being hold back by its 3 GB
