monitor burning in really quickly?

For some reason it seems my monitor is burning in very quickly.  I have 2 Asus PB278Q's, but only one of them has started having this problem.  After only a few minutes of sitting on one page, if I move a gray image, or application (usually discord) over the monitor that has been sitting for a few, there is obvious burn in. Luckily it will go away after a few, but I want to know if there is any way to get rid of this issue?  Or is the problem inevitable and the only solution is to buy a new monitor?
