Swap Vega 56 for GTX Titan X 12gb

asimrc

So i have always used an amd video card . Currently have a Vega 56. A friend of mine has offered a straight swap for a GTX Titan X 12gb.

Wanted to know everyone's thoughts wether if its a true 1 to 1 swap and will the titan be okay for racing sim titles running tripple screen 1080p setup

wut? that titan is three times the price of the vega (and much better performing)

CPU: Ryzen 1700@3.9ghz; GPU: EVGA 560 Ti 1gb; RAM: 16gb 2x8 Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000; PCPP: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/b3xzzM

the titan X maxwell performs similarly to the 980ti, which the Vega 56 outperforms. keep the Vega card, not worth the swap.

Nah do listen, I do not find it worth getting However having I actually owned an Evga Superclocked GTX TITAN X at 1450mhz core clock, I can tell you the TITAN XM does make some spacing to the 980 Ti, would compare it rather to a GTX 1070 Ti at stock which is a bit ahead of the V56.

Though also having owned one I do not recommend it at all, it is a loud and hot card that consumes as much if not more power either ways... for a small performance jump while not even getting nVidia latest technologies, not worth it at all, would save for a brand new 1080 Ti taking into account that he'd sell the V56.
